In our hectic and distracted world, we can all use more confidence on the road. Ford made a splash in the car industry when it released some of the most innovative technology to date. Ford created a solution to keep drivers confident on the road and to aid in safety. Ford’s Co-Pilot360 technology is the solution many have been waiting for.

The Ford Co-Pilot technology is here to help you! Each Ford vehicle comes equipped with a different variation of the Eco-Pilot technology. Some (but not all) of the standard features on the Eco-Pilot technology include…

  1. BLIS (Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert) - Okay, I know this sounds like a mouth full but just stay with me folks. How many times have you freaked out about attempting a lane change on a hectic highway? Don’t lie...we have all been there. With the BLIS technology fear no more! This feature helps to detect and alert you when vehicles are in your blind spot. Pretty amazing, right? Also with the help of a good ole teammate called “Cross-Traffic Alert,” it detects traffic that’s behind you. It’s the perfect pair.

  2. Lane-Keeping System - We all get distracted on the roads, unfortunately, and then we end up close to the edge of our lane. The Lane-Keeping System helps us to stay in our lane by alerting us when we get to close.

  3. Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control - Basically a speed recognition technology. No really! This includes features like Speed Sign Recognition, Stop-and-Go, and Lane Centering. Once, you have the Speed Sign Recognition activated and set to your preferred speed the system will detect and adjust speed automatically based on speed limits along your route. IT’S MAGIC WE TELL YOU!

Recently, Ford has given this amazing technology an upgrade. The Ford Eco-Pilot360 now comes with Hands-Free driving. We can’t make this up! This Hands-Free Mode will allow drivers on certain pre-mapped areas to drive with their hands off the steering wheel giving the driver an additional level of comfort.

Ford has stated, “The stress of long highway drives remains a huge issue for drivers around the world,” said Hau Thai-Tang, Ford’s chief product development and purchasing officer. “By introducing driver-assist technologies like Active Drive Assist, Ford’s version of hands-free driving, we’re allowing our customers to feel more confident whenever they’re behind the wheel.”

We, at Heartland Ford of Heber Springs, Arkansas, are proud to be a part of the growing Ford Family. Are you interested in buying an all-new Ford vehicle? Stop by Heartland Ford today for a test drive. You won’t regret it!
