Free Online Summer Camp for Car-Loving Girls | Heartland Ford of Heber Springs Arkansas

Meet Athena Racing, and it might not be what you think. Athena Racing is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) educational nonprofit. They focus on providing mentorship and training to young ladies in high school that are interested in pursuing careers in transportation, automotive, and motorsports industry. With the current pandemic, providing resources and training could be challenging for most but not for the Athena racing crew. The mission of Athena Racing has pushed this stellar organization to think outside of the box to care for their younger generation. They will be offering an incredible FREE online “summer camp” for the girls who are curious about cars, how they function, and how they are even made.

Athena will be unveiling all of the stages of building a rifting trike from a pile of parts and scrap metal. They will be taking their students from the very beginnings or planning stages to cutting, welding, painting, and the big reveal! Every week they will be interviewing with famous STEM role models, tour private car collections, and even have fun contests from the comfort of their home.

The Athena Summer Camp schedule will look similar to this. The course will be broadcast live over five sessions starting July 1st. Classes will be held on Wednesdays during July from 9 AM to 1 PM PST and the big final class will be broadcast on July 29th.
