While the F-150 Lightning will have stellar power and performance across the board, its mechanics will be highlighted in the sheer force of the Lightning Platinum’s powertrain. The F-150 Lightning Platinum will be the most powerful Ford truck to date. Its engine will pump out 563 horsepower and its electric qualities will allow it to provide 775 lb-ft of instantaneous torque. The Lightning Platinum will be able to tow up to 10,000 pounds. It will also feature an extended-range battery, allowing it to travel up to 300 miles without a recharge.
Technology
Electric trucks are supposed to have more advanced technology, right? Well, the Ford F-150 Lightning Platinum has that and more. The truck blows open the doors on the next generation of in-car technology. It will debut Ford’s Sync 4A system on a 15.5-inch portrait touchscreen. This new technology will feature improved voice control, a cloud navigation system and wireless access to Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Amazon Alexa. The truck will also feature a 12-inch digital instrument cluster to show all your latest vehicle data. The technology of the Ford F-150 Lightning Platinum is next level.
Luxurious Interior and Exterior
Not only does the Ford F-150 Lightning Platinum feature an amazing engine and technology, but its appearance is quite attractive as well. The Lightning Platinum will feature 22-inch custom wheels, a chrome-tinted grille and signature front lightning. Its interior will feature premium leather seats which are both heated and ventilated as well as real wood accents and a premium audio system. The Ford F-150 Lightning Platinum will provide drivers with the experience of a luxury truck.
