You've been waiting for it, you've been asking for it, and recently, the day finally came: the day when Ford Motor Company took the wraps off the all-new 2021 Ford Bronco! Unveiled in mid-July, the all-new Bronco is well worth the wait and should be an off-road game-changer for legions of Blue Oval performance fans. Ready to buy a 2021 Ford Bronco in Heber Springs, Conway, Greers Ferry, or anywhere else in Arkansas? While the first 2021 Ford Bronco models won't be delivered until Spring 2021 at the earliest, reservations are open now, and we've got all the details to get you excited about the hottest vehicle to hit Ford dealerships since the iconic 1964-1/2 Mustang!

INCREDIBLE STYLE
Available in both short-wheelbase, two-door or family-friendly four-door models, the first thing you probably notice about the 2021 Ford Bronco is its incredible, retro-futuristic, look. With a slab-sided body, boxy shape, round headlights and throwback grille that are clearly meant to evoke the beloved first-gen Bronco built between 1966 and 1977.

Both two- and four-door models up the fun with an easily-removable top and doors for open-air wheelin' and an incredible look while staying safe and sound thanks to a rugged "sport bar" roll cage system. Two-door 2021 Bronco models have a three-section roof, with two panels over the front seats that remove without tools and a rear section that lifts off after removing a few bolts and some connectors. Four-door models have a four-section roof, with the panels over the passenger seats coming off at the twist of a handle, followed by the remaining bolt-in roof section. All hardtops also have removable rear quarter windows. A quick-folding cloth soft top is standard on four-door models. Don't want to have to choose between a hardtop or soft top? Any 2021 Bronco can be optioned with both.

For even more fun and style, the 2021 Ford Bronco's class-exclusive frameless doors can be removed in minutes, while cowl-mounted rearview mirrors stay in place. Meanwhile, what Ford is calling "trail sights" adorn the front fenders and are a lot more than just decoration, able to be used as tie-downs for rooftop items like canoes and kayaks.

“We created the Bronco family to elevate every aspect of off-road adventure and equipped them with class-leading chassis hardware and exclusive technologies to raise the bar in the rugged 4x4 segment and take people further into the wild,” said Jim Farley, Ford chief operating officer. “They’re built with the toughness of an F-Series truck and performance spirit of Mustang – and come wrapped in one of the most stunning and functional off-road designs that’s true to the original Bronco design DNA.”

BUILT FOR OFF-ROAD FUN
Sure, the 2021 Bronco looks great, but how does it perform off-road? You didn't think Ford was going to slap one of the most legendary names in off-roading on a weak-kneed poseur mobile, did you? The 2021 Bronco is built from the word go for maximum 4x4 capability. Every model features standard four-wheel drive, with two 4x4 systems offered -- a base system and the more rugged "advanced" 4x4 system, with up to seven selectable modes to optimize drivetrain systems for the occasion, including Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery and Sand, with Baja, Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl for slow-speed crawling. The "Advanced" 4x4 system is built Ford Tough, with a two-speed electromechanical transfer case sending power to an advanced Dana 44 AdvanTEK solid rear axle and Dana AdvanTEK independent front differential unit. Both feature available Spicer Performa-TraK locking diffs spinning available 35-inch all-terrain tires from the factory, for ultimate traction no matter where the adventure takes you.

It all adds up to some serious numbers for the 2021 Bronco, including best-in-class 11.6-inches of ground clearance, a 29-degree break-over angle and a 37.2-degree departure angle, plus best-in-class water fording capability of up to 33.5 inches. A full set of steel bash-plates and skid plates up-armor all suspension components, including the engine, transmission, transfer case and fuel tank, while heavy-duty rock rails keep the sheet metal under your doors nice and shiny.

FORD-TOUGH POWER
The 2021 Bronco looks great and works like a champ off-road, but what about power? There's still more good news for off-road fans on that front.

Building on Ford's turn in the last decade toward smaller, turbocharged power-plants that make big grunt from itty-bitty packages, the 2021 Ford Bronco is available with the 2.7-liter EcoBoost turbocharged V6 engine, a modern engineering marvel that pumps out an incredible, best-in-class 310 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of tire-squalling torque. Standard power is delivered by the 2.3-liter Ecoboost turbo four-cylinder, which puts out 270 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque.

And now the question a lot of you rock-crawlers have been waiting for: Will the 2021 Ford Bronco be available with a manual transmission? The answer, three-pedal fans, is a resounding yes. In addition to the advanced 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission, the 2021 Ford Bronco will be available with a segment-first 6-speed manual gearbox featuring a seventh gear that's the modern equivalent of the old "Granny Lo," offering a class-leading crawler gear ratio of 94.75 to 1, for earth-turning low-speed torque to take on even the trickiest terrain.

We don't have enough room here to share with you all the ways the 2021 Ford Bronco is going to be an off-road game-changer for fans of Ford Performance but suffice it to say this is gonna be big. While the Bronco won't be on our lot at Heartland Ford of Heber Springs until next spring, demand is bound to be high, so if you want one, you need to act fast.
